Community Guidelines

Our community is built on the pillars of respect, support, and inclusivity. We believe in empowering mothers by providing a safe space for them to connect, share experiences, and grow together. To maintain this positive environment, we’ve established a set of guidelines that reflect our shared values and commitment to each other.

I. Respect and Kindness

  1. The feeling of motherhood unites us. One need not give birth to a child to be a mother. So there should be no discrimination of that sort.
  2. Treat all members with respect, regardless of differing opinions, parenting styles, or cultural backgrounds. If you have issues with someone contact the Founder / one of the General Body/ core team members before addressing
  3. Encourage, uplift, and support one another in all conversations and interactions.
  4. Any form of bullying, harassment, or hate speech will not be tolerated.

II. Privacy and Confidentiality

  1. Do not share personal information, including phone numbers, addresses, or private conversations, without consent.
  2. What’s shared in the group stays in the group. Respect the privacy of others and do not disclose sensitive information.
  3. No WhatsApp group links can be shared without prior permission.
  4. You cannot take numbers from the group and send promotions even if the person sent you an enquiry, as permission before adding them to the broadcast group.
  5. Do not add any member to any group without their Permission

III. Content and Communication

  1. Share content that is relevant to the community’s interests.
  2. Avoid posting irrelevant links, promotional content, or advertisements unless approved by the community admins or on specified days in particular groups
  3. Engage in constructive and meaningful discussions. If you disagree with someone, express your views politely without being confrontational.
  4. Promotions are allowed only on Monday and Wednesday in the main Moms of Kochi groups.
  5. Only 4 photos/1 video to be posted
  6. Promotions are not allowed in any subgroups except Entrepreneurs, Defteros, Travel and Property groups. Check the group rules before posting

IV. Health and Safety

  1. Only share health-related advice or information that is accurate and from reliable sources. Misinformation can be harmful.
  2. Prioritize safety in all community activities and events. Follow safety guidelines and protocols during in-person gatherings.

V. Conflict resolution

  1. If conflicts arise, address them calmly and respectfully. Reach out to admins for mediation if necessary.
  2. Any form of verbal abuse, threats, or aggressive behaviour will lead to immediate removal from the community.
  3. Any degrading statements about the community or any of our officials will result in disciplinary action

VI. Entrepreneur guideline

  • Your products should be good quality, properly packed, expiry date properly mentioned and only MRP or discount from MRP to be incurred from the client.
  • Preloved group – Real pictures to be posted.
  • If you have any complaint about any purchase it should be addressed within 7 days of receiving the product.
  • If you are unable to deliver a product to the client on time, inform your client beforehand.
  • Any member who breaks the rule will be given a chance to explain once. If the explanation is not satisfactory, the founder and the General body hold the right to remove them without prior notice.

VI. Admin Guidelines

  1. Admins are here to facilitate a positive experience for all members. They have the authority to enforce guidelines, mediate disputes, and make decisions for the well-being of the group.
  2. Members are encouraged to provide feedback to admins regarding the community’s functioning and any concerns in respectful terms.
  3. Do not call any of the admins without a prior message without prior permission.

By adhering to these guidelines, “Moms of Kochi” can continue to be a thriving, supportive, and inclusive community where every mother feels valued and empowered.
